Workshop on “Funding Opportunities for the Development of CCU” – 18th of May 2022

On the 18th of May, our project coordinator Eric Van Dijk presented the INITIATE project during our first thematic workshop “Funding Opportunities for the Development of Carbon Capture and Utilisation”.

The webinar was jointly organised with our partners CO2 Value Europe, VIVALDI H2020 project and SUNERGY - Fossil-free fuels and chemicals for a climate-neutral Europe, and deepened the participants’ knowledge about the Horizon Europe programme and three successful EU-funded projects (including INITIATE), as well as the Innovation Fund and the Breakthrough Energy Catalyst model.

During the presentation, Eric highlighted the importance of the EU funding instrument to ensure the continuity and consistency along the TRL scale (of which our case study is a great example) and what can be expected from an IA project.
